I’ve searched for any mention (besides your website) that mentions specifics about WHICH EyeTV products include GarageSale – do you know which ones? And is it the FULL Version of GarageSale or something less?
Like 33,000 other Ebay sellers, I had used Auctiva successfully for years until they switched from free to monthly fee programs. Does GarageSale include any sort of support for Auctiva users to access, transfer, import/convert images/auctions/ templates, etc? (as Ink Frog offers)
Also, where does GarageSale store dormant auctions data & images? In cyberspace or on the buyers computer hard drive? Or is there a combination of the two?
Lastly, I don’t like “surprises” (like Auctiva’s recent surprise) if I purchase GarageSale, aside from potential new version upgrades charges, are there other related costs I may incur now or in the future? – like any aspect of image hosting (views, enlargements, limits to numbers of images or reduction of free storage space), additional fees (like Vendio charges commissions on sales), or possibly features that are now included (free) which could later have costs associated with them?
Do you – or might you – impose limitations to which GarageSale versions you will support/ keep fully functional? (Like Quicken forces users to buy newer versions by not supporting older versions to even be able to import data from linked accounts)
Thank you so much for your help!

Nearly two years and no response.

Yes, you can turn your running eBay auction into GarageSale templates and launch new auctions from these templates.
It’s all on your local hard drive.
There is the initial purchase price of 39.99 USD. That’s it. About every two years we are releasing a paid upgrade, which is optional to purchase. Upgrade prices in the past have been in the range of 15-17 USD.
We’ll continue to provide bug fixes and critical updates for most recent release prior to the upgrade for at least another year.
As said above, we will stop supporting older releases after a certain period of time. After that point, the software remains fully functional, unless eBay makes some breaking change to its API.
Hope this helps,
